Having a founder that has been active in the Cyrator community is a big plus. How to plan on dealing with the murky and aggressive SEC is something we're watching play out in real life, with each case. I appreciate Civitas' approach to this by working on solutions to avoiding the SEC's "jurisdiction".

The fact that they have a budget put's them ahead of most start ups as well. They've also posted their average earning in their lightpaper to back up their projections. Boom!

Using a point system to convert staking and referrals into tokens to avoid the legal headaches around securities is smart. I think this is exactly what crypto needs to keep evolving without getting tangled in red tape.

They aim to grow Total Value Locked (TVL) to generate yield, targeting anywhere from 5% APR to a high-risk 10% monthly. I’m all for using TVL smartly, but these high returns can swing wildly, so investors should be aware of this.

The tokenomics setup is neat: 5% of new tokens are earmarked for airdrops, with 1% of that going to Civitas stakers. This means stakers get to benefit from multiple project airdrops, which is a great way to diversify that's built right in.

Aiming for over 10% monthly is ambitious and the risks will need to be kept in check.

They plan to get an MVP out in a month for $20,000, with further dev costing $10,000 a month. I like the lean budget, but the whole DAO decision-making process needs active community involvement, which can be tricky to maintain.

The US Gov is afraid of this new thing called crypto that is moving extremely fast, so for them to get control they need to slow us down.
